  • Burr is very untrustworthy. You must keep this man away from power because he will destroy us!
  • In 1804, Burr decides to run for governor of New York. But, if you know Hamilton, you know he won't let him win. So, Hamilton steps up and tries to oppose Burr's bid for office. Burr ends up losing and immediately points the finger at Hamilton. He had enough of Hamilton and from that point on they started negotiating a duel.
  • July 11, 1804 in Weehawken, New Jersey, was the day and place Hamilton and Burr, would face off. Hamilton gambled on the fact that Burr wouldn't kill because he at least had the insurance that if he did, he would be branded as murderer. But, Hamilton was wrong.
