  • In November 1096 I decided to take back the Holy Land which I believe is rightfully ours.
  • We changed from a Roman numeral system to an Arabic numeral system.
  • We were exposed to new foods and culture. They also learned more about medicine and science.
  • This war was called the Crusades. Europe had many advances in things because of the crusades.
  • We bought foods back from the Holy Land. The Muslim merchants introduced us to foods such assuch as lemons, apricots and sugar. They introduced us to spices such as black pepper.
  • Lemons, sugar and apricots were some foods brought back
  • The people who fought brought back knowledge on how to breed certain animals.
  • Before we had the Crusades we used a numeral system called Roman Numerals. After the crusades we transitioned into using the Arabic number system.

  • During the Crusades the europeans traded along the silk road.
  • This lead to a rise in trade between Europe and China.
  • The Europeans discovered the riches of India and China.
