  • There was a small house in Corsica in which Napoleon Bonaparte was born. Napoleon Bonaparte was born on Tuesday, August 15, in 1769, in Ajaccio, in Corsica. France had acquired Corsica from the Italian citystate of genoa the year before Napoleon was born
  • Napoleon's navy loses the Battle of Traflagar
  • Napoleon graduated military school in 1784 as 42nd in his class of 52. He studied a lot more strategies he would use in the future for all of the battles in the war Napoleon started.
  • Napoleon crowns himself the emporer
  • The Battle of Waterloo was fought on Sunday, June 18th in 1815 in Waterloo which is near Belgium. It was the last battle Napoleon ever fought because he got exiled for the second time to Saint Helena and supposedly died from stomach cancer.
  • Napoleon overthrows the Directory in the 18 Brumaire
  • The Battle of Traflagar was between the british royal navy and the french navy led by napoleon. Napoleon ended up losing due to how good the royal british navy was at combat at the time.
  • Napoleon crowned himself emporer when you are usually supposed to have the crown be put on your head. 8 years after being crowned emporer in 1804, he decided to attempt to invade russia in 1812 and failed due to being short of supplies.
  • An event that created the first council that Napoleon was to be of, and it ended the french revolution. The consulate was created due to this and it defined the period of office for a consul member.
