Pharaohs were very wealthy in ancient Egyptian times and had most power over the citizens of Egypt. as well as ruling Egypt they collected taxes and made laws to keep the city safe
Government officials were second on the social pyramid and mostly helped the pharaoh. since the pharaoh was recruited at such a young age the government officials were basically the pharaoh until the ruler was old enough to make their own decisions

Priests were third on the social pyramid in Egypt and had a pretty important job, they mummify the pharaoh when is passes depending on what priest it is it way guard the temple and give the pharaoh advice.

scribes were fourth on the social pyramid and were essential for Egypt because of their writing skills. since they were 5 scribes went to scribe school to practice hieroglyphs and write document for the government when their older.

peasants are last on the social pyramid and are surprisingly important. they grow crops to keep Egypt food supply in balance and provide people with fresh crops because of their fields of food
