  • Defendants can not be forced to testify against themselves.
  • Excuse me ma'am, a person committed a murder last week and we believe you're the suspect we're looking for. You must defend yourself in court.
  • I will not be defending myself in court because I have a right against self incrimination.
  • There has to be a cause for the search and seizure of evidence.
  • I'm sorry officers but you can't come in here without a probable cause for the search.
  • Excuse me sir, we must search your house for evidence of a crime.
  • Everyone has the right to an attorney.
  • Your honor, since I'm getting accused of a crime, I have the right to be represented by an attorney.
  • Everyone has the right to a trial by jury.
  • The accused criminal has the right to be in a court in the state and district in which the crime happened.
