  • The Cause Of The Peloponnesian War
  • End of the First Peloponnesian War.
  • The Plague OUTBREAK!!
  • They caused this war because when they had their first four wars. They had stopped and taken a time of recovery and then Athens became very powerful. Sparta became very jealous of what Athens had so they declared war.
  • Spartans become SMART!!
  • The first war had ended and the Spartans had dominated the land and Athenians had dominated the sea. Pericles the leader of Athens had built walls around their area to keep them safe from anybody but it still allowed them to get out.
  • When this disease broke out a bunch of people died from it in Athens because that is where it broke out. Even the leader of Athens died from this his name was Pericles. The plague is a very serious disease that killed a bunch of people.
  • The Spartans began to gather other people/civilizations to help them become more powerful the Athens. They even gathered the Persians but the Athens recovered and won a bunch of battles between 410 and 406 BC.
