Storyboard Text

  • Wolves like to live in forests and areas that they can thrive. There is plenty to eat and coverage for packs to hunt and live.
  • Wolves have around 4 to 6 cubs each, and the pack will take care of them together. Not all cubs will survive because nature sometimes works against them.
  • There are two types of wolves that live in the forest. Brown wolves that blend in during the summer months and have a thinner coat, and white wolves that blend in during the winter and have a thicker coat.
  • Summers are short and winters are long. The brown wolves will have a hard time hunting and some freeze during the winter. The numbers of the brown wolves decrease during this time.
  • White wolves thrive during the Winter. Their cubs are taken care of, and will have larger numbers of pack members to help out.
  • Packs that have a combination of both white and brown wolves have a better chance of surviving throughout the year, but nature has better selected the white wolf in this climate and environment.
