  • In 1910 Mary Mallon was allowed to go free as long as she agreed to never work as a cook again. 
  • I promise I'll never cook again. (;
  • For 5 years no one heard from Mary. 
  • Have ya'll heard anything about Typhoid Mary?
  • Nope!
  • In 1915 there was another typhoid break out in a maternity hospital. 
  • Oh no!
  • They traced the disease to a cook named Ms. Brown. 
  • You did it!!
  • WHAT?
  • It turns out that the cook, Ms. Brown was actually Mary Mallon!
  • People were very mad because Mary had promised not to cook ever again. 
  • She doesn't deserve a second chance.
