- Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep; but I am going there to wake him up.
- I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?

- Lazarus from Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha, was sick. So the sisters sent word to Jesus and ask for help.

- When Jesus arrived he found that Lazarus had been in the tomb for four days. He asked Martha to believe in him.

- Martha brought Mary to meet Jesus and Jesus asked where Lazarus was buried. They wept.
