  • He graduated from Harvard in 1762 then he helped his father with business. He was born July 17th, 1774 in Marblehead, Massachusetts.
  • Elbridge Gerry helped to draft the Bill of Rights. He, supported the Bill of Rights. He was also part of the Continental Congress in Philadeplphia from 1776 to 1780.
  • He was the Vice president of the US in 1812. He was the Governer of Massachusetts from 1810-1811. In 1814 he suffered from hemorrhage of the lungs and died.
