  • You shall be king someday and rule the finest place.
  • You can have what ever you want my wonderful son.
  • Please give me anything, some food or water.
  • Siddhartha Guatma, a Hindu Prince of Nepal was born 6 dad met a fortune teller who predicts that Siddhartha would either become a king or become part of a religious leader. Of course, his dad wanted him to be king. 
  • Just one grain of rice.
  • Siddhartha was raised in a life of luxury without experiencing pain or sadness. Siddhartha got married and had a child, just like Siddhartha he was raised in luxury and wealth. He had what ever he wanted while guards made sure he didn't see any poor or ill. 
  • I am not leaving until my understandings are understood.
  • One night Siddhartha went out of the palace with no guards. While on this journey he experienced four sights of ill,sad, and poor. So later that night he cut his hair and traded in his rich clothes for normal clothes to see what it felt like. 
  • please forgive us for all of our sins
  • Eventually Siddhartha left to search for the true meaning of life. During this journey, Siddhartha became poor and only had a bowl that was used to beg for food. While searching he became part of the ascetics for religious beliefs. 
  • Siddhartha sat below a fig tree for at least 49 days to show what he thought was important. One day god of death,Mara, tried to tempt him to stop his journey by making it hail and rain. But Sadartha wouldn't budge. 
  • During Siddhartha´s journey he reached enlightenment. This is when he became known as Buddha. Today, Buddha is known as a great Hindu god that represents complete wisdom and full enlightenment.
