Good even ladies and gentlemen, My name is Arthur Miller and today i am discussing my play, The Crucible
Act 1: one of the major conflicts within the crucible is Witchcraft and how it tears Salem apart. But the main conflict within Act one is how Betty Parris, Reverend Parris's daughter was bewitched and how it would destroy his reputation.
Thus we come to the end of the crucible. John Proctor a truly honorable man is put to death. Ending the chaos of Salem and stopping any other witch trials. His sacrifice brought the resolution Salem needed
Here we see one a couple of my characters Abigail Williams, Betty Parris and Reverend Parris. Betty is sick and instead of worrying about his child Reverend Parris is worrying more about his reputation
Act 2: One of the Major Characters that contribute to the conflict is Abigail Williams who comes up with a way to eliminate by framing Elizabeth Proctor by Stabbing herself
Here we see Elizabeth Proctor being arrested. She was set up by Abigail Williams. The framing worked and she was gets arrested. This truly shows the nature of My character Abigail Williams who is as evil as it gets.
Act 3:A major complication on the plot is the Affair between Abigail Williams and John Proctor
John Always regretted his affair with Abigail, This was also Abigail's motive for wanting to get Elizabeth out of the picture. She always hated that he picked her over herself
Act 4: As the play ends the last person to hang is John Proctor, who denies confession and goes out honorably thus ending the chaos of Salem
