The Aztecs prepare for a ball game called pok-a-tok. However, this is no ordinary ball game. The losers will have to face their deaths as part of a religious sacrifice.
In order to win, the players must toss a rubber ball around without using their arms or legs. The ball must go through a hoop that is standing vertically.
The game keeps going. The gray team is winning. The score is 3 to 1. The crowd is on their feet.
5,4,3,2,1. Time! The gray team wins. The red team will have to participate in a sacrifice!
One by one, all the players were sacrificed in front of a roaring crowd.
The winning team gets the opponents heart and offer it to the gods.
