One day a merchant was walking with all of the goods he had. He was looking for a pearl of great price. He didn't know what was to come that day. He didn't know he would soon find a pearl of great price.
The merchant saw a pearl that stood out to him. He soon knew he had to have the pearl. He knew that this pearl would be important. He knew he had to have it.
The merchant saw people he could then sell it to. The merchant sold everything he had for this one pearl. The pearl was very important to him.
He walked away from the people he sold everything to. He walked away with the pearl and only the pearl. Feeling happiness and much joy. The pearl gave him these feelings of joy.
This pearl is like the Kingdom of Heaven. He went searching for a pearl and found it. When he found a pearl of great price, he sold everything he had, and bought it. He seeked for a pearl of good price and found it.
The parable of the pearl is similar to the Parable of the Hidden Treasure. The Kingdom of Heaven is like this parable. It is like a merchant that searches for a pearl of great price. After he finds the pearl, he sells everything he has just for that pearl.
