  • Well since data cells were destroyed for me in birth my pancreas can't create insulin and bring sugar to my cells. 
  • Hey Joey, I was wondering, how exactly does your body maintain homeostasis?
  • So when my blood sugar rises and my body cannot control the stimulus receptors in my body sense a change.
  • The effectors try to solve the stimulus and regain homeostasis. 
  • Is that when the pancreas comes in and releases insulin into your blood to lower your blood sugar levels?
  • Exactly! and once my blood sugar levels reach homeostasis my pancreas stops releasing insulin. Thus solving the problem and getting back to a set point.
  • Wow! That's a perfect example of a negative feedback loop!
