  • Native Americans 
  • Africans in the War
  • Women helped in the war by spying, fundraising, fought alongside the soldiers, and some followed the camp around from place to place.
  • Foreign-Born Heroes of the Revolution
  • Many native tribes believed that the British would win and supported the British, but then when the British lost, their rights were taken from them by the Americans.
  • Espionage/Intelligence Gathering
  • The British had promised the Africans in the colonies freedom if they won so many ran away and joined the side of the British and fought against their masters.
  • Weapons/Tactics/Military Life
  • There were many foreign heroes that had helped America to win. Many were financial help, but some countries helped by sending soldiers to fight in the war.
  • There were many ways of spying in the Revolusion. Even some women spied for both causes. 
  • You don't see me...
  • Many weapons and tactics were used in the Revolution. The most common gun was a musket while pistols were few. The common tactics used were the linear tactics and guerilla tactics.
