Davy Crockett was born in to a pioneer family in 1786. He taught how to shoot at age 8, and by age 12 his family had moved 3 times. At age 13 his father enlisted him into school, on his first few days of attendance he fought the class bully.
Davy ran away from home afraid of the repercussions, He spent 2 years wandering the woods, honing his skills as a woodsmen. Just before he turned 18, Davy returned home to help pay off his fathers debt to a man named John Canady.
A day before his 20th birthday he married Mary Finley, whom would go on to have 3 children in total before his wife death. He would then re-marry to Elizabeth Patton whom would have 2 children.\\
After the war of 1812 Davy joined the militia under Major John Gibson. Stationed in Winchester, Tennessee, Crockett joined a mission to seek revenge for the Creek Indians'. He would fight in several battles and he was discharged. However he reenlisted under Capt John Cowen.
When Davy returned home he got into the Tennessee State House of Representatives
Davy would go on to fight in the Almo, he was killed in battle.
