Not A Typical Senior Year
This storyboard does not have a description.
After getting out of jail, I received a letter from my principal informing me that I was not allowed to return to school and would be transferred to an alternative school. I was a straight A student, who never had any disciplinary issues who got into one physical altercation, is being told that I have to transfer a school where only troublemakers attend.
Since I only needed one class to graduate high school, I dropped out of school, took a few CLEP test and got my high school diploma.
After it was all said and done, what I took from it all is that you cannot control everything that happens to you. You just have to go with the flow of life. It doesn't matter how many times you get knocked down, what matters is how many times you get back up.
I appreciated the information and slowly distanced myself from hanging with the gentlemen.
Fast forward a few months, I noticed a young man, who was new to the school, hanging out with the same gentlemen. After my previous experience, I thought it was civic duty to pass along the information that was shared with me about the individuals he was associated with. One day I saw him in the hallway and passed along the information. I felt like a mayor making a difference in the community.
As luck would have it, the young man decided to join gang and informed them of the wisdom I passed onto him. As you can imagine, the fellow gang members did not find that information amusing and decided to approach me about it. As the time, I was about 5'9", 13 pounds. I was approached by a white guy, who was about the same size as me and a black guy, who was about 6'4", 250 pounds.
