Storyboard Text

  • How grateful I am for the Sun! It lights the way for mortals to do their daily work and we should all rejoice in it's presence!
  • Curse the Moon, for now I surely can't finish my work! There is no one single task the Moon can do that the Sun can't do better!
  • Beware fair maiden! control your lips. Do not let Artemis hear you!
  • Once, long ago, in a far away land, there lived a girl named Helena. She loved the Sun and was miserable without it.
  • I pity Artemis for pulling the Moon into the sky each night. What a worthless task!
  • Each night when the Sun hid away and the Moon was revealed, she grew enraged, for her precious Sun was gone as well as her happiness.
  • Perhaps if Artemis knew how insignificant the Moon was to mortals, she would stop pulling it into the sky each night and the Sun could always shine!
  • Consequently, Artemis, in her Moon Palace above, heard Helena and sent a messenger to her.
  • Young girl, the Moon has many purposes, it lights the sky for night creatures and it provides a guide of time. Don't try to fix what is not broken.
  • But Helena was stubborn and she believed that the Sun was much better than the Moon, so she did not heed the messenger's warning.
  • However, when Helena arrived home, she began thinking about Artemis...
  • So, Helena planned to speak with Artemis herself. The very next day, she called upon Artemis and she was brought to the Moon Palace.
