  • "Shall we declare peace by sending an olive branch?"
  • "We shall not send over an olive branch."
  • "Here, here!"
  • "We shall now read the new declaration of independence."
  • "It'll be okay, Charles. You'll be protected from the virus, and our family will stay healthy."
  • "Okay, Mother."
  • "We will manage."
  • Here they are in Philadelphia. They are all discussing whether they want to send over an Olive Branch as a symbol of peace. 
  • "I must go to Philadelphia."
  • Here is where they read aloud the declaration of independence for the United States, written by Thomas Jefferson. The declaration of independence will now be read.
  • We need to declare our independence, Mr. Dickinson!
  • They are too powerful, Mr. Adams!
  • Here is Abigail  Adams with the five Adam's family children. They are getting a vaccine to keep them safe from the small pox disease. They are all very scared, but in the long run, they will be protected.
  • "Could you write the declaration of independence, due to your popularity and writing ability?"
  • "Yes, I can, John."
  • Here is the Adams family standing outside of their home. John Adams is about to go to Philadelphia to declare independence.
  • Here is John Adams, and Mr. Dickinson arguing at a congress meeting. They were in a heated debate about how they need to handle the British, and how they need to declare independence.
  • This was when John Adam's asked Thomas Jefferson to write the declaration of independence. John wanted him to write it due to his writing abilities, and his popularity.
