After all of the Umayyads were killed, Prince Abd al-Rahman fled to Spain. The prince founded the Muslim Spain city Cordoba. Cordoba was a great city, none of the great things about is their intelligence and how far ahead of everyone else they were. Some of the other things that makes it a great capital is that it had so many books!
Suleyman I was a wonderful ruler and captain to his army. Suleyman I was the ruler of Ottoman when it was the most victorious and at its highest peek. Ottoman covered all around the Red sea, the Black sea and the Mediterranean sea.
Science and Philosophy
There were two empires that fought against the Ottoman Empire, the Safavid Empire and the Mughal Empire. The Safavid Empire were rivals of the Sunni Ottoman Empire and were a Shi'ite Dynasty. The Safavid Empire faught the Ottoman empire mostly for the purpose land, they gained and lost land constantly in battle. They highly encouraged all art and religious activity.
Art and Architecture
The Mughal Empire was wedged between two Empires the Safavid Empire and the Ottoman Empire. They conquered most of India and Covered most of the subcontinent. They were at their peek under Shah Jahan's rule.
The Muslims used astronomy for tracking time and when they should celebrate their religion. The Muslims were very intelligent and learned from their ancestors, the Muslims added to their ancestors understanding of things so they could protect one another from sickness.
Muslim art was very unique. Both in architecture and on canvas Muslims used repeated patterns and beautiful words. Although Muslims loved to decorate the places they worshiped in, they did not decorate with figures. Muslims believe that if they create statues people will worship them instead of god.
