The water cycle's first step would be evaporation which is when the sun's heat warms up any source of water in which in these case is the ocean shore and turns it into water vapor making it go up into the sky. Another form of evaporation is transpiration but it comes from plants.
How am I going to get off this island?
Condensation is the second step in the water cycle which is when the water goes high enough into the sky to get cold and to collide with each other then comes together creating clouds.
Oh my god there's a plane?!? HELP DOWN HERE!!
Once the water in the clouds gets heavy enough it falls down as rain, hail, snow, and in some cases sleet.
Why is it raining?
You know what... I'm build a boat.
Do I even know how to build a boat.
The water that does not get absorbed by the soil or evaporates into the sky makes i'ts way into other places. The two types of runoff are surface runoff and underground runoff.
When the water goes into other places it collects such as in oceans, lakes, rivers, and streams. Then the cycle begins once more, it never ends.
