They each get 2 apples with 2 remaining but it keeps telling me I'm wrong.
I don’t get it! I’ve been working on my homework for almost 2 HOURS. Let me try to do it one more time.
So the problem is “Sally and her 5 friends have 12 apples. How many apples does each person get?”

Yay! Okay, so it says, “Sally and her 5 friends have 12 apples. How many apples does each person get?”
There's 5 people sharing 12 apples, 5 x 2 is 10 so they each get 2 apples with 2 remaining. It must be a mistake.
I got an answer of 2 apples with 2 remaining and it keeps saying I'm wrong. What? I’m not dumb.
Ohhh, I forgot about Sally. So there are 6 people and 12 apples. The answer would be 2 with no remainder, right?
Uhhh no there are only 5 people not 6, how’d you even get 6 people.
