Nicolaus Copernicus He was born on February 19th 1473 and passed away on May 21st 1543. He was an astronomer and came up with the theory that the sun was in the center of the Universe. (heliocentric Theory)
Francis Bacon He was born January 22nd 1561 and died April 9th 1626. He was an English Philosopher, Scientist, Artist, and much more. He discovered the Snietific revolution.
Isaac Newton He was born January 4, 1643 and died March 31st 1727. He was an english mathematician, Astronomer and more. He invented the reflecting telescope and was a key figure in the Scientifc Revolution.
Galileo Galilei He was born on February 15, 1564 and died on January 8, 1642. He was an Astronomer, Philosopher and much more. He invented many things and was called "the father of observational astronomy".
The church had conflict with new science. There was conflict between scientific thoughts and traditional religious beliefs. Theories and books caused conflict. And so did the bible because people where saying theories that were differnet from what was stated in the bible.
The scientific revolution impacted our world in many ways. For example if it wasnt for some of these people we wouldnt have known that the world was heliocentric and not geocentric. We also wouldnt know the scientific method, newtons laws of motion, and so much more.
