- Mid Shot: A waitress at the diner asks Mr. Antolini if he is going to have his usual. She asks him why he is hiding behind a menu. The joke around.
- Long shot: As Holden is walking through Broadway, he encounters a family. The little kid is humming a "Catcher in the Rye".
- Long Shot: Holden goes to a record shop to buy the " little Shirley Beans' record for Phoebe.
- Long Shot: Holden buy tickets to go see the Lunts for his date with sally.
