The seventh man is telling his tragic story and how it haunted him for most of his life. It begins with the big wave that messed up his life.
He started telling about the day the typhoon came and how he and his best friend K. went to the beach to see what the shore had swallowed.
When they get there it the winds started to come back and the waves got bigger and bigger. K. got distracted at looking something in the sand and didn't hear his best friend calling him. In matter of seconds the wave had swallowed him. He was nowhere to be seen.
After the event he fainted and woke up in the hospital. He couldn't believe what had happened to his best friend.
Later on he kept having nightmares so he moved to Nagano. Years later he found a box with K. paintings and he started to have the same nightmares until he decided to study them.
When he studied all the paintings he decided to go back to his hometown. He went straight to the beach and in that specific day he had a reconciliation with himself.
