Storyboard Text

  • Romulus and Remus were twin brothers. Their parents were Mars, the god of war, and Rhea Silvia, the twin’s mother.
  • Then Romulus and Remus’s uncle, Amulius seized the boys, put them in a basket and them in the Tiber River. Amulius hopes that they would drown. However, the twins were found by a she-wolf.
  • Romulus and Remus were found by The shepherd Faustulus, who took the twins to his house and raised the boys as his own.
  • Since Romulus and Remus couldn't decide where to build a city at, because they both wanted to build the city on different hills. They decided that they would both build their own city. This is the city the Romulus built, the city was called Rome.
  • Romulus did not like what his brother, Remus had said. Romulus was very annoyed, and with that, he killed his brother. He threaten that if anybody said anything about his wall he would kill them too!
  • This is the easiest wall to jump over. This wall can be easily breached.
  • When Remus came to visit Romulus, Remus jumped over the castle wall, laughing, Remus said
  • Legend saids that from that point Romulus became the first king of Rome. After King Romulus was done being king, his father, Mars carried him up to the heavens, and worshiped as the god Quirinus.
