Storyboard Text

  • Exposition 
  • Rising Action
  • Climax
  • In this scene Daedalus is getting told that he is getting locked up in the tower as a punishment.  "Ordered Daedalus to be shut up in a high tower that faced the lonely sea." Lines 2-3. 
  • Falling Action
  • This is the scene where Daedalus told his son, Icarus, to get all the feathers he can find on the shore. "He called to his son, Icarus, to him and told the boy to gather up all the feathers he could find on the rocky shore". Lines 13-14.
  • Resulution 
  • In this scene Daedalus and Icarus are flying over the water and Icarus keeps flying up. "Father and son flew over Samos and Delos, which lay on their left, and Lebinthus." Lines 60-67.
  • Theme
  • In this scene Icarus wings are falling apart and he is falling into the ocean.  "He was bewitched by the sense of freedom and beat his wings frantically so that they would carry him to heaven it's self" Lines 68-70. 
  • In this scene Daedalus buried is son memory and flew to Sicily. "Weeping bitterly, he buried his small son and called the land Icaria in his memory." Lines 86-87.
  • In this scene I'm showing the theme "freedom". This is showing Daedulas and his son flying to freedom.
