- Migizi is purified at the Sweat Lodge Ceremony--purifies the body, mind, spirit and heart and restore right relationships with self and the Creator. Migizi meets an elder, Wenona, who sends Migizi on a Vision Quest to be accepted in her community, This quest is an intense spiritual experience for those seeking direction in life.
- Arrival of the Spirit Helper and Its Teachings
- Migizi begins her vision quest far from her community where she will pray, fast from food and little water, and endure the elements for several days while patiently waiting for her vision to come. This will solidify her beliefs and values of her religion, and confirm the balance between Heaven and Earth.
- Return Home
- Welcome back Migizi! I hope you had an eventful vision quest!
- Thank you mom and dad, I met my spirit helper!
- Migizi is solidifying her spiritual connection to the Creator and naturalistic surroundings. She strays away from food and little water and focuses on finding her vision.
- Wenona's Interpretation of the Vision
- My spirit helper is the eagle!
- Wow! The eagle represents loyalty, freedom, truth and honor. These are important traits to have during your transition into adulthood.
- Migizi meets her spirit helper, the eagle, and begins her adventure back home to understand the meaning of the eagle and the importance of her quest.
- When Migizi returns home she shares her spiritual journey with her parents and how she conquered through her vision quest and her encounter with the eagle.
- Migizi meets with Wenona after greeting her parents, so she can learn more about the eagle and can finally be accepted in her community now that her vision quest is complete.
