- Jeremiah got a message from god, he went to the valley of Ben-He-Nome and brought a jar with him "This is the valley that you sacrifice innocent babies to idols, this place will hereafter be called the valley of slaughter". with that he through the jar and it broke. Although, in-between the crowed was Pusher the chief priest. He was unpleased with this and went upon him and stuck Jeremiah. The guards took Jeremiah to the palace and was beaten the hole night.
- Jeremiah got another message, God told Jeremiah to put a wooden yoke on his neck and go to the king Zedekiah. God also told Jeremiah that the king Nebuchadnezzar was his loyal servant and that he was using the king to destroy Israel and their people. Once at the palace Jeremiah said "I have handed over all your countries to my servant Nebuchadnezzar, if you refuse to obey him and bend to his yoke then your kiddom will be destroyed". Although, the kings servant broke the wooden yoke, Jeremiah said that the Lord will put a iron yoke on his shoulder and you will die in a florin land.
- King Zedekiah stopped paying tribute to Nebuchadnezzar and as Jeremiah said the Babylon army attacked the city of Jerusalem. They pulled down the walls and set fire to the palace and temples. Everything happened like Jeremiah had predicted, they looted the town and thousands people were enslaved, they were then taken to Babylon. They killed King Zedekiah, ministers and all the priests. Jeremiah then got a message from god saying that he punished those that had broken his Covenant, the days are coming when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel I will write my law in their harts I will be there God and they shall be my people.
