  • Romeo sees Juliet for the first time and is amazed by her beauty.
  • Oh, she doth teach the torches to burn bright!
  • Uncle, this is a Montague, our foe.
  • Content thee, gentle coz. Let him alone. He bears him like a portly gentleman,
  • Tybalt spots Romeo, and asks Capulet if he can kill him.
  • Good pilgrim, you do wrong your hand too much.
  •  I profane with my unworthiest hand this holy shrine.
  • Romeo confronts Juliet for the first time and takes her hand.
  • O, then, dear saint, let lips do what hands do.
  • Romeo wants Juliet to grant his prayer. *They kiss*

  • Juliet finds out that the boy she just fell in love with was a Montague.
  • Go ask his name.—If he be married. My grave is like to be my wedding bed.
