Storyboard Text

  • Exposition: the opening of the book 
  • Identify The Problem: The king was done with the dragon
  • Who ever kills the dragon get half the kingdom or marry my daughter or both
  •                Rising Action: The 2 older sons tried to kill the dragon
  • The king had a kingdom that went far and wide.  
  • Climax: The youngest son killed the dragon
  • There was one thing wrong with his kingdom.  There was a dragon that terrorized the kingdom at night.  One day the king called a meeting and he said who ever kills the dragon gets half the kingdom or can marry his daughter.  The carpenter soon was up for the challange
  • Falling Action: They loaded the treasures to the horse
  • The carpenter first son set off to slay the dragon, but failed and got eaten.  The carpenter middle son went to try but failed and got eaten as well.  They both asked there father for advice and he said when you get there say " Dragon dragon I am here to kill you from the king."
  • Resolution: They arrived home
  • The carpenter youngest son went to try to slay the dragon, even tho he scared.  He asked his father for advice and he gave him the same advice as he did his other brothers.  He said what his father told him and the dragon fell over laughing.  He chopped his head off and the brothers crawled out.
  • The brothers loaded all the treasures onto the youngest brothers horse.  They had enough treasure to last them years. 
  • They arrived home and every one was happy.  The wizard was happy because they found his spell book.  The princess was happy because it was the youngest son.  She was hoping it would be him to slay the dragon.
