  • I think it is time that I told the TRUE story about Hydra Bond, I didn't just magically get powers, you know. It all started when I found magical berries near a lagoon.
  • I picked one off the tree, something called an "oxygen tree", and two more off of another, something called a "hydrogen tree". As soon as I ate it. I felt a distinct change inside of me, and discovered that I had powers! So, I quickly returned home to read more about it. I found a book called "CK-12" about the "properties of water." Many of them had something to do with "hydrogen bonding." It said something about how this used to exist, but no longer did, and explained all of the properties that water had. I then looked up some of the experiments that used to be done in that time, in a related text .
  • The first one said that hydrogen bonding helped water attract other water droplets! This meant that I could literally make water stick to itself, drop by drop, on top of a flat surface until it formed a dome of water. I kept doing this until it all dispersed, though it took a while before it did this.

  • Even more fascinatingly, I discovered that I could change nature. When I heated water just like that, it would turn into steam almost instantly, but when I used my powers on it, it took a lot longer, and the water got much hotter before it changed phase!

  • Even more exciting, when I called a metahuman called Rhewi to freeze the lake, the ice sank, but when I use my hydrogen bonding powers on it, it floated!
  • I then did the exact opposite. I asked Kuthenta to heat the water as I measured the temperature. It very quickly heated up,. However, after I used my powers on it, it took a lot of heat before it was even raised by one degree!
