  • When I look into the mirror, I see Clarrise
  • Fire
  • Books 
  • "There is a time for everything, a season for every activity."
  • Montag see's Clarisse's face as a mirror reflecting himself looking back at him with the same feeling of fear that he is experiencing. 
  • Fire symbolizes destruction, but also rebirth. When Montag destroys his own house down with fire,  he is now on a new chapter in his life/ rebirth. 
  • Books symbolize knowledge, and a deeper understanding of the meaning of life. They also symbolize Montag's rebellion against society.
