  • When I see the title Annabell Lee I think the story is going to be about a girl named Annabell Lee
  • A-Attitude
  • The poem Annabell Lee is about a Girl named Annabell Lee and she is loved by a  guy and she loves him too. There love is so strong that the angels in heaven are jealous of there love. Her kinsman did not like her love so he locked her away to die. The angels still were not happy so they killed Annabell. But the writer of the poem will never forget her he will always dream of her and visit her grave.

  • T-Title/Theme
  • The attitude is happy at the beginning of the poem because it is talking about how much the writer of the poem and Annabell love each other. In the middle and end the poem becomes sad because Annabell is taken away and dies.
  • There are two shifts in this poem, the first one is in the 2nd to 3rd stanza when the writer goes from talking about his love to telling us that her kinsman took Annabell away. The second shift is located from the 5th paragraph to the 6th when it tells us that Annabell dies.
  • Title- the poem is about a girl named Annabell  Lee who dies Theme- The poem is about no matter how much you love someone it can always be seperated.  Enjoy the time you have with someone you never know when it can be taken away
