- this is jerry he is an orphan and he just turned 18. For many of us turning 18 is wild, happy, and exciting but not for jerry because once your 18 and an orphan you have to leave the orphanage. You have to live on your own, imagine becoming homeless on your birthday.
- He has difficult times because people give him unpleasant looks and don't give any money because they assume things about him. He said the most common assumption is that he uses the money to buy drugs and alcohol, but all he needs is a small amount of money so he can get a job but some people are too naive to try to understand which is why jerry is still on the streets
- pls help im am homeless
- It very unfortunate that jerry an ambitious teen couldn't get himself off the street. It wasn't because jerry was weak or jerry was lazy or jerry was not as hard-working it WAS BECAUSE WE are too shallow and am I hoping we can make a changejerry isn't one person he is hundreds of thousands of people
- a lot of orphan become homeless after their 18th birthday
- we can make an assumption on someone but we should or shouldn't carry out actions based on that assumption
- we can do better and try to understand people's situations and try to understand there are situations we haven't encountered before.
