  • Andrew Jackson should not be on the $20 bill By-Sophia Washington
  • Andrew Jackson should not be on the $20 bill By-Sophia Washington
  • Andrew Jackson is a very selfish man. I read about the Jacksonian Democracy and I am just flabbergasted. He just made this Democracy to get more people to vote for him to be president! This is very unacceptable and unfair. There fore i do not want him on the $20 bill.
  • Well you see, this system was made so that he could easily be elected. If he had people who agreed with everything he's saying, of course, he could win the election! I think this is very unfair and in a way it's CHEATING! In all, i don't think he should be on the $20 bill.

  • Thanks for your input, Carol. Now here is a civilian who wants to be a part of this topic. So sir, tell me what you think about the Spoils system Andrew Jackson made.
  •
  • History Book Bank War-HISTORY Britannica.com
  • Oh my goodness Jimmy! My Granddaughter is learning about Andrew Jackson right now and she wants to talk about the Indian Removal Policy he made. Go ahead and tell them Shay.
  • Well you see grandma, the Indian removal policy forced native Americans out of there homes so that america would expand the land that they already had. I think this isn't fair because we didn't even offer to house the native Americans we just kicked them out of there own homes! I really  don't think he should be on the $20 bill
  •
  • Jacksonian Democracy- When the political decision was placed into the “Common Man's” Hands. Meaning they got to choose who they wanted for president and the majority ruled.
  • Well, even though he might have taken things too far to win the election, Andrew Jackson used states rights to maintain the supreme stability of the Federal Government. And i support that because I think the federal government should be above all since they make all the decisions that determine how our nation moves forward. In conclusion i think he should be on the $20 bill.
  • This is so cool! There's so many people who have such a great opinion on this matter! Even my neighbor! Let's see what he has to say.
  • Spoils System-Spoils System-The practice of giving government jobs to political backers.
  •
  • I think it was very unreasonable to do that. The only relevant reason why he could've destroyed the U.S national bank was just so he could show his followers how "independent" he was. Personally, I'm not for it.  Therefore i don't think he should be on the $20 bill.
  • This is our final contributor to this debate. So ma'am what is your take on Andrew Jackson destroying the united states national bank to make his own
  • Indian Removal Policy-This policy made the Native Americans to either move west or agree to state laws in order to keep their land.
  •
  • State Rights-This right stated that the States had no right and that all the powers went to the Federal Government.
  •
  • War on National Bank/Economic Decisions-After reelection, Jackson destroyed the second bank and made his own.
