Storyboard Text

  • Odysseus and his men approached the shore where they see a towering brute going about his business.
  • "'Strangers"', he said, 'who are you? And where from?
  • "Neither reply nor pity came from him, but in one stride he clutched my companions and caught two in his hands like squirming puppies to beat their brains out, spattering the floor."
  • "Even as he spoke, he reeled and tumbled backward, his great head lolling to one side; and sleep took him like any creature. Drunk, hiccupping he dribbled streams of men and liquor. "
  • Odysseus and his men shoved the hot sharp spike in the cyclops eye.
  • Odysseus and some of his men escaped. Odysseus told the cyclops his real name and the cyclops cursed him.
