Come on Emma. We're supposed to meet the rest of the family over here.
OK! Ya'll are all set to go! Just follow the kayak in-front of ya'll.
I had been looking forward to this trip the whole year. We just arrived in Florida last night. I love the outdoors, and when I heard Dad and my Uncle Bill talking over the phone about taking us on a kayaking trip, I went crazy! Now, finally, we're here!
How do you steer a kayak?
Left! Right! Left! Right! Left! Right!
We have to paddle left, then right at the same time!
We all met at a gazebo near the dock. I was kayaking with Kindle (My Sister), my Dad, Dane (My Cousin), my Aunt Brooke, and my Uncle Bill.
Calm down Emma. Uncle Bill and Dane are taking a break for a second. It would be rude to go one and pass them up.
Actually, me and Dane are trying to get passed some poles up ahead. DO you see them now. Their clear, very large, and very close together.
Uncle Bill and Dane had already started paddling towards the destination on the other side. I was a little bit nervous about them starting off before us because honestly, Uncle Bill isn't the best at listening to directions. A little while after they left, a lady came up to help me and dad get started.
We kept chanting, left, right, left, right, until we came to a stop.
Sometimes, I just wish that there was no such thing as being rude.
WHAT'S THE HOLD UP?!?
The kayak furiously slammed against the wooden pole and threw us sideways.
