  • The French Revolution
  • 1914-1918
  • World War 1
  • 1917
  • The Russian Revolution
  • King Louis XVI needed money, forcing the French Monarch to levy a new land tax, causing France to go bankrupt, angering the people.
  • 1929-1939
  • The Depression
  • A war between The Allies and The Central Powers. Millions were killed for imperialism, nationalism, militarism, and alliances.
  • 1948
  • The Berlin Blockade
  • A series of revolutions that changed the government from a monarchy under the Czars to a communist dictatorship under Lenin.
  • It began with the Stock Market Crash in 1929, later affecting U.S economies for the worse. Millions went broke, homeless, etc.
  • The Soviet Union blocked all Allied access to the cite of Berlin, so people could not leave to get medicine, food, or anything. The Berlin Airlift had to drop supplies to the people.
