I did it!!!
Now back to the locker room to change for school, only to return in the afternoon for workout number two.
My baby girl did it!!!
Olympics watch out!
And that was only one day... of 64 reapeats of the same routine before Millie's last chane to get her Olympic trial qualifying time.
Finally, it was time for sectionals and with certainty Millie entered the water for the 400 IM, and to only be filled with pure joy at the finish.
And thats exactly what I did.
I want people to know that you will have road blocks in your live, for me it was my dissablilite, but that shouldn't stop you, instead take the detor and find another way home.
What is the main message you want people to feel?
After three more months of hard work and training Millie went to the Olympic Swimming Trials to compete in the 400IM, and sucssesfully got a spot on the team. Olympics here comes Millie!
Millie got 1st place in the trials and is elated about her newest acivement.
The next three weeks were quite exhilarating for Millie while she prepared to face the olympics. Finally when she raced the 400IM there, she placed second and turned alot of heads doing this. Being part of team USA was quite a dream for Millie and not only that she inspired others too.
When Millie got home she shared her message that she learned during her expereince at the Olympics with a local news channel.
