Ever since the narrator saw the old man, he felt the intent to kill him.
He never hated the old man, and he didn't want his money. So what did he want?
It was the old man's eyes! The old man called it the "vulture eye".
So the narrator stalked the old man every night for a whole week while he was asleep.
So the man gathered enough courage to carry out a plan to kill the old man so he can get rid of the eye.
And then puts him in the floor boards. Soon after, the police came after a noise complaint.
After gathering enough courage to kill the man, he starts to cut up the man into 5 pieces.
It started to make the man mad. He thought that the only way to get rid of this retched noise is to confess what he did. SO the man ripped up the floor boards to only show the cut up old man to the police.
The man greeted the officers and comfortably sat down with them to talk, and then the man started to hear a noise. The noise started to irritate the man thinking that the noise was rooting from killing the man.
