  • Thy who has too much self pride,        Shall be the one that will                        have died.        Thy one who makes many                        mistakes,          Thy Gods!, His life they                            will take. Thy ones you have done wrong,   Will make sure that you don’t                       live long.  Thy Gods that you have upset, Shall make sure that you won’t                       forget.
  • Introduction
  • Rising Action
  • The Ode explains that the Gods will get revenge on Creon for doing them wrong.
  • Climax
  • Choragus, along with the citizens, find out that Creon is to blame for the deaths of Antigone, Haemon, and Creon's wife.
  • Falling Action
  • Creon gets dethroned by Choragus and is very unhappy about it.
  • Resolution
  • Creon gets sentenced to a life in prison for causing the death of three people.
  • Ismene laughs at and mocks Creon as revenge for causing the death of her sister.
  • Creon eventually ends up dying in jail after a decade, and they leave his body to be eaten by birds.
