First question. How did you feel hiding in the Annex?
It was sad for me at first, I could never go outside, I missed my friends, but it was nice living with the others in the Annex, even though we fought sometimes, they were all wonderful people.
Next question. What were your feelings toward Peter van Daan?
He was a lovely boy, Margot was too serious to talk to and I didn’t communicate well with the adults, he was someone I could talk to.
Next, What would you want to do after the war has ended?
I would want to travel all the way to Paris! Oh, how nice that would be, I would want to sing or dance, I just want to study music and art and be famous!
Last question, Why did you only show affection to your father but not your mother?
My mother would never understand me, she didn’t give a care for me, but father he would always play along with me, he gave me a diary, he was just so kind to me, even at her best, mother could not understand me.
