  • machine guns were in use when WW1 started. The machine gun was very popular in combat, they were made by the British. they were really fast and they were really heavy. there was 21,000 deaths with the usage of the machine guns in WW1.
  • poison Gas
  • Tanks affected WW1 by the faster destruction and deadly attacks also. The technology impacted the war by being surprise attack also with the tanks reinforcing the rifle from defending the trenches, it had eliminated many. Although thye did fail to pass through Germany's lines, 54,720 lives were lost.
  • Submarines
  • the flame thrower impacted the war by the quick elimination on the enemy. they were able to take out hiding soldiers. The advantage that the flamethrower had was that they has changes and more possibility to win and take out as many soldiers. there was a little deaths but there were a lot of casualties with injuries
  • Air planes
  • poison Gas impacted the war by killing a lot of people and it was most effective. they used the poison gas to eliminate large number of Germans. thye advanced in diffrent type of poison gases that were more affective and weren't visible. In WW1 there was 1.3 million deaths by gas attacks.
  • They were litvely small and weren't that big in using in the actual war. they then saved a bigger combat role later on in the war. The submarines were very large in size and could carry 700 tons so they were very effective.
  • Air planes impacted the war by carrying large items like bombs. they were able to do long range bombing and they relied on hiding from the enemies borders. they 577 in-flight deaths were recorded, for a reported average of 72 deaths per year. Deaths occurred at average rated of 0.31 per million passengers, 125 billion passenger kilometers, and 25.2 per million departures
