Relies he's lonely
the giver transmit anther memory of Jonas on a sled but only this time the sled loses control and throws Jonas into the air causing him to experience the pain of a broken leg.
After the memory is over Jonas ask the giver for medication of relief of pain but the giver denies the request of Jonas and reminds him he's not allowed medication unless it's involved with his training.
Jonas relies that nobody else can feel the pain that he's experiencing and start to feel lonely
The next day Jonas goes back for more training and complains to the giver why the had to be the only ones who have to suffer. The giver told Jonas that only by experiencing these painful trials is the only way Jonas will receive wisdom.
The giver then tells Jonas that the receivers job is so important because he is the only one that can hold these painful memories for them.
Jonas transmits the memory of a sail boat to Gabriel to get him to fall asleep
