  • Taking care of my children and cooking is getting tiring, but only if I could vote...
  • The 19th amendment is now being passed.

  • I am so happy I finally get to vote!
  • Women tended to stay home, cook, clean and take care of their children. Though after many had worked outside and some fought in the war, women wanted the right to vote!
  • Next is the outfits!

  • Here on May 21, 1919, the 19th amendment was passed by the House and later by the senate. Making women very happy, that decades of protesting paid off.
  • It is fun to get out, for some drinks on the low!

  • Here are when women are finally getting to vote. Around November 2, of 1920, was when many women voted in elections for the first time.
  • I got a job as a teacher!
  • Here is where women are getting ready by doing outfits, makeup, hair, etc. For possibly going out for fun, like speakeasy's, or just too look nice.
  • Women went out and started to attend speakeasy's, secret bars, which made them feel more wild and free.
  • There began to be a huge increase in employment for women at this time. Some of the most common Jobs were teachers, nurses and librarians.
