Storyboard Text

  • Verbal Irony because the place is called summit but their town was on flatlands.
  • "There was a town down there, as flat as a flannel-cake, and called Summit of course. It contained inhabitants of as deleterious and self-satisfied a class of peasantry as ever clustered around a Maypole."
  • Situational Irony because Johnny did not want to go back home, and when people get kidnapped they would want to go home.
  • "You wont take me back home again, Snake-eye, will you?"
  • Someone please make this kid shut up!
  • Dramatic Irony because the kidnappers are complaining about kidnapping a kid, when the kid should be complaining.
  • I want candy, ice cream, and other snacks as well.
