- France troops were helping the colonists fight a war against the Indians that were on colonists land. The king had agreed to help colonists.

- The stamp act was a tax that was put on every single piece of paper used in the American colonies. including, newspaper, legal documents, and licences.

- The king passed a law called the Quartering act. It required colonists to care for British soldiers.

- Boston Massacre March 5th 1770
- The Boston massacre was a horrible time for colonists. On 49th street red coats and colonists had fought each other.
- One red coat fired their gun and the rest started firing. 5 colonists died. 3 on the spot and 2 died with terrible wounds.

- We are going to dump this taxed tea in the Boston harbor!

- The Boston Tea party took place at night when colonists invaded a boat docked on the Boston harbor full of tea. Colonists boarded the ship with tomahawks and smashed the tea crates open and dumped them in the Boston Harbor.
