Storyboard Text

  • What's the point?
  • Once there was this old man, who went by the name Bruce, lived in a quiet tiny home. Some times children down the street would come and terrorize his lawn. Everyday he got up at seven o'clock to drink his coffee and read his daily news paper. " Today's forecast is rainy with a some lightning and thunder," the radio announced.
  • Suddenly, there was a loud roar of thunder like a lion protecting itself. Bruce jumped back spilling coffee on the old stained rug. " Well I guess that's how today's going to go," he thought. He then got up and cleaned the stain carelessly because he thought," whats the point!"
  • Next, he sat back down and listened to the old radio when out of no where the radio cut out. He hit the radio and it came back on. Then, it went out again, but when he hit it, nothing happened. Over and over again until Bruce just gave up and started reading his news paper instead.
  • Then, the radio turned on and started warning,"... watch out!" Bruce then heard a noise under his feet. Jumping back, he grabbed the chair in a panic and started screaming," go away!" "Crack," went the chair as it hit the floor. The creature was still moving.
  • Over and over he hit the strange creature until he became weak. It stopped moving and he lift the rug slowly making sure the creature is dead. While he picked up the strange creature he realized it was a robot the kids down the street played with. He looked up and saw children looking through the window to see if there plan had worked. Running to the door he yelled," you little kids better leave me alone!'
  • The old man ended up throwing away the radio, so he could never get scared again. Now he sits on his bed while reads his news paper and drinks coffee because he broke his only chair. The kids learned that bad actions lead to bad consequences.
